About Us (Sugar Cookies, Cookie Classes, Cookie Cakes and Dessert Trays)

My name is Elizabeth Winters and I am the baker behind Blissful B’s Cookies. I am originally from Massachusetts where I began my baking adventure decorating cakes.  Decorating for family and friend's events kept me busy until I was chasing around 2 toddlers and was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Just as I was ready to dive back into baking, cancer hit again and I put my spatulas and decorating tips away to spend as much time as possible with my family while going through treatments.  Fast forward to 2020 , my kids are older, I am cancer free, I moved to Oklahoma and I was looking for something that would bring me as much joy as cake decorating did. I reconnected with a friend who introduced me to cookie decorating. 

I truly believe everything happens for a reason and this path was chosen for me. I am a stronger person and feel that I can tackle any challenge.

 I enjoy the challenge of creating edible art in the form of sugar cookies, dessert trays and cookie cakes for my customers and seeing their excitement as they see their life events come to life in cookie form. I also enjoy teaching others my love of cookie decorating with cookie classes.

In addition to cookie decorating, I have a full time job as a school librarian (best job ever!) , teach both graduates and undergrads at University of Central Oklahoma and enjoy spending time with my husband and kids. My motto is “life is too short to waste time with things that don't bring you joy.” I live every day to it's fullest and embrace positivity in any way.
